Robert Benson

Mr. Benson is the Regional Manager, Gas Construction – Metro NY and Long Island for National Grid. National Grid is international electricity and gas company based in the UK and northeastern US. On Long Island, National Grid provides natural gas service through its extensive distribution system. Throughout his career with National Grid and its legacy companies, Bob has eagerly accepted challenges presented to him with positive results. He received numerous achievement awards including Company CEO Awards, Employee Recognition Awards, Going the Extra Mile Award as well a Culture Chairman Committee Awards.

Bob believes strongly in giving back to the community. He is affiliated and actively involved with numerous Not-For-Profit Charities. He currently is the President and Co-Founder of the Moonjumpers Charitable Foundations, Inc. He is the Vice President of Leadership Huntington as well as an active Board Member of Habitat for Humanity of Suffolk, The Good Fellows of Suffolk County and National Grid’s Power To Serve.

Mr. Benson received his Bachelors from New York Institute of Technology in 1991, where he was a member of the Tau Alpha Pi National Honor Society for Engineering.

Mr. Benson resides in Northport, New York.
