Cindy Grimm is the Assistant Director at The Whaling Museum & Education Center and a Licensed Real Estate Agent with Signature Premier Properties in Cold Spring Harbor. A lifelong resident of Huntington, Ms. Grimm received her BA in Communications from James Madison University and her MA in Art Education from LIU Post.
Prior to joining The Whaling Museum in 2013 where she develops innovative marketing strategies, event planning, and acquires much-needed funding through grants and sponsorships, Grimm taught in the South Huntington school district and wrote for The Long Islander Newspapers. She served on the Citizens Advisory Committee for the town’s Horizons 2020 Comprehensive Master Plan and has worked with many local charities throughout the town including St. Hugh’s Outreach and the Boys and Girls Club. As a member of the 2018 graduating class, Grimm was proud to combine her varied background skills to contribute to the ambitious Leadership Huntington class project, The Leadership Café located in the Tri-CYA.
